INTRO

When starting with a new language most content has to be created from scratch.
The final result should be an attractive website that scores well in two different ares:

  1. People should be happy with the content and presentation of all information
    This is the most important thing because the we will have returning customers and generate free marketing by our customers
  2. Search engines should find our pages and rank them high
    There are some Search Engine Optimalisation (SEO) rules that will support in achieving this.

This page helps you with a checklist to achieve both goals; please use them!

PREPARE

Prepare the information for your page / product:

Prepare Key words and Key phrases

Prepare an overview of the most important (search) words and key phrases associated with your page/product.
They should: -1- clearly describe the product and -2- be logical search terms/phrases.

Tips to find these keywords and key phrases:

  1. What are the most logical words for this page/product?
  2. Use Google and see what Google adds (autocompletes)
  3. Use tools KeywordTool or AnswerThePublic or browse around Reddit
  4. Use promotion words like "professional", "best", "reliable", "guaranteed", ...
  5. Use synonyms
  6. Check the source = Page of the energizer
  7. Check out the competition = What words and terms do they use?

With these words and phrases that you've gathered you can now create your own content.

Example

A very experienced magician

Key words:
Magician, Experienced, Surpise, Disbelief, Unbelievable

Key phrases:
experienced online magician,unbelievable effects, let him surprise you, ...

CHECKLIST TEXT

Score all texts of your product on following criteria:

  • Content starts with keywords
    = "Online Energizer" + Name + Title
  • At least twice "Online Energizer" in page content
  • Modular structure = visual division in logical and easy to read content-pieces
  • All information is relevant for this specific energizer
  • At least one internal link
    (e.g. to another category or article or OE or anything else on OE you deem relevant for this page)

All pages and products should have all pages of this checklist checked before publishing or before external review.

  • Images sizes optimized (max 1920x1080)
  • Images tags optimized = keywords in alt field
  • URL of the product contains keywords
  • Tags H1, H2 H3 used
  • Yoast - Keydescription completed
  • Yoast - Description completed
