GIF challenge

Required: Online whiteboard

Based on a word or even an entire sentence given by the ‘quiz leader’ all participants search for a GIF that they think fits best.
This way, you learn what thought connections your colleagues make! What are your they thinking!?

Some examples:

• The weekend …
• This is what a good team looks like …
• The ideal team leader …
• What did I dream about last night! …
• The real boss? …
• Run for cover …
• He acts just like his mom …
• The first time I arrived at my new job …
• When I finally get home …
• The first will be the last …

• What happens at the copier …
• Football fan …
• Coffee time! …
• When I look out of the window …

Depending on the type of meeting:

• have participants explain their GIF in more detail
• have participants respond to GIFs with a shout-out or with another picture

Tips:

• Interchange fun questions with questions about the project you are working on
• Do this exercise a few times throughout the online meeting – it keeps the atmosphere light and sparks creativity
• If the team is large, you can play against each other in two groups
• For example, divide the team into ‘veteran’ versus ‘young’ and ‘the boys against the girls’ – you will notice striking differences.
• Time-box – set a time per question, or for the whole game.
• Teams and Zoom feature a simple ‘built-in’ Whiteboard.
